Back in the 70's we kept chooks.. Back then the Bury St Edmunds market was the place to buy all sorts of chickens, so we had a fair selection and rarely ran out of eggs !
When we eventually got rid of them and took down the coop it took a long while for the grass to grow back but when it did it was very lush.. And even to this day, some 40 years later, you can still see ( if you know where to look sort of this ) the outline of the pen
