6/10. Not bad considering I wasn't even born in the 40's/50's. I also did not grow up in Philadelphia.

Would you like to take over selecting the quiz, DB? :dunno: :-0)

I appreciate the offer kind sir, and I apologise if I have offended you, but I honestly had not heard of any of the Q & A's. It might have something to do with the fact that when I was born, that place "across the pond " was a colony of ours !!!! h1d1ng2

No offence taken, young man.

I do not have time to do the quiz before I select it but I filter out any quiz I think is America based, remembering it is an American site. Occasionally I get it wrong, like today, but it is surprising what clues are in the question. The last thing I want are a load of 10/10s. I ask that peeps have a go even if it is not something they think they can score well in. The odd 0/10 is refreshing and a nice contrast to AEs perpetual 10/10s and today because it was well outside even AE's knowledge base we have a new BoB. I am really pleased to see that someone on here is even older than I am because I don't remember the Boston tea Party! :-0)

I am pleased to have made your day :-0)

although there is no shame about knowing nothing about a time before I existed in a country I have never inhabited. I don't recall Frank McCourt spending any time in Philadelphia

You missed a good do there, Bill, although it did get a bit raucous about closing time when the beer ran out and tea was all that was left to drink !!! 8rfl@
