BMW K1100 LTSE

Today at last got it to new home.
Hasn't been moved for almost a year
for various reasons. Put in new battery
and it started on press of button.

Did short run just to get it up to temperature.

I have always disliked the look of those things.. Just too old manish even for an old fart like me.
OK, they are very long legged ( borrowed one once and banging out big miles was very easy ) but just rather boring.

The only work I have done on one was a totally siezed gear actuator rod cos it had been stood up for years..

Proper solid work horse would sum them up for me.

Bit of a tank ok but comfortable.
Did Pembroke to Framlingham in the day,
as you say it eat the miles.
