Are you concerned of any risks??
Not really considering.attic.
Ginglong Solis.
Nope. No increase in insurance premium at install so the insurance company aren’t bothered about any increased risk.
If you are thinking about doing it I Wouldn't hesitate unless you don’t have somewhere facing in a good direction to catch the sun - we are lucky that the longest roof we have is 1 degree off south facing. Our readings started on 21 June last year (so not including the next two months which should be very efficient) and we have to date bought 18% of our electricity needs from the grid (ie when the batteries are flat) plus exported almost 4mwh. Also switching hot water heating from gas to immersion probably around 70% of the time making a big hole in the gas bill. We were quoted seven year's payback, looking more like five at the moment - that’s a return on capital of c20% over five years, better than 4.5% on deposit. And then it’s all free.
According to you I'm a "thistle muncher".... which would make me a cannibal. You're a plant
