Anyone else out there read that great piece of news in yesterdays paper that beer bellies are caused, not by drinking beer, but by our genes? This will of course be ideal for some of the larger amongst us and means I can carry on slinging it down me neck safe in the knowledge it's not expanding my waste line. Also good news is that a moderate amount of alcohol every day is good for you, but what does moderate mean?
Below is a useful guide for beer consumers to cut out and keep.
1 pint - not worth the trip to the pub
2-3 pints - showing signs of life
3-5 pints - lightweight
6-7 pints - average to moderate
8-9 pints - well trained
10 and over - who cares?
