Back to work at last

I,ve just had a meeting to arrange a return to work,
Been off since my "off" on 1st July...

My doctor had signed me fit in the first week of November.

Thats Two and a half months to arrange a suitable post.
Only in the Prison service...:tosser: 's

I'm starting back on Thursday assisting with project management and buisness improvement (general paper shuffling by the sound of it).

At least it's a start though.

Here's hoping none of us has a serious off in 2006...

Thanks derek, It's going to feel a bit wierd working for the "other side" though in the admin block with all the governers. And working 8-5. Never done that in my life.

Hopfully I will eventually be fit enough to return to my own post in the seg.unit

My consutant mentioned that now "may be a time to retrain" ,
So I'll have to keep up with the physio. to give myself the best chance of a full recovery and prove him wrong

Just need to get some compensation from the silly cow who knocked me off now, might be able to replace the Bird then.

I know how frustrating it can be, trust me.

The best thing you can do to aid recovery is to get back into work and take ya mind off the pain.
We'll have to go on a 'VIRTUAL' ride-out this spring from the comfort of the armchair.

Thanks R2B2, I must have been typing at the same time as you,

Rhino, Yes a virtual ride out it is then!,

Or we could organise an EX Bird owners diesel estate day out
(05 pissat 130ps tdi estate) and when we all stop we can compare mpg's, heated seats and other marvels of the 4 wheeled kind

Now where's that cage section, I'll post a thread organising a run......

Sh1t I really need a bike:bang:
