I'm wanting a chainsaw [preferably petrol driven] so I looked on the Argos website, special offer end of line Petrol chainsaw half price ?49.99 instead of ?99.99 so I registered and went through the rigmorole of adding it to shopping basket then reserving at local store only to be told OUT OF STOCK, so I went through every store in South & west Yorkshire only to be told the same thing out of stock.

Went back to the original page, petrol chainsaw half price now ?34.99 so went through the rigmorole again, guess what
OUT OF STOCK

Getting a bit pissed off now.

In my experience in life........ buy cheap - buy shite!

Reality doesn't usually stray far from that theory DK. If they are reduced to half price it's normally because they couldn't sell 'em for some reason.

Thanks Baz but they are showing as out of stock all over.
I think in reality they only had a couple in stock to start with as the particular model is not shown in the catalogue, they entice you with a special offer then when you discover that it is out of stock they expect you to buy a dearer one.
