Are all screens the same

Hi gang,

I am fed up with buffeting of my present double bubble screen and looking to replace it with something else.

My question is, do all the screens fit all bikes, or was there a change to screen fittings between the carb and injection model (or at any other time)?

I am seeing quite a few 1998 model screens and I have a 2000/2001 model injection.

The same as far as I'm are. Certainly no distinction made on jaws' site, and he does specify injection on things like lights.

When I got my 2000 'bird I suffered quite a bit of buffeting above 80 m.p.h. so I fitted a double bubble which was a lot better. So, when I got my 2002 'bird and it was fitted with the standard screen , I thought that I would have to do the same, but it was a lot better than the '00 screen . I then found out that in '02 the screen height had been raised by approx. one inch. Doesn't sound much but it makes quite a difference. @tu*
