ali dust caps...........

gone and tried to check my tyre pressures,and i cannot get the feckin'aluminium dust cap off the back wheel :bang: so before i get my mallet out...can anyone recommend a method for removal of said item.

please can we have a sensible answer before ALL the piss taking(yeah right)

had that prob - somehow WD40 loosened it off and it came away easy!!:bow:

Heat it up with hot water then try. failing that put some material over the cap then use pliers.

Tried and tested method 'Stan'.......kettle of hot water, pour it over the cap but use a damp rag to grip the cap NOT pliers as you'll more than likely crush it onto the valve.
