Hi All,

Having put an order in today for my new '06 Bird I am interested in the general view on alarms. I have always used Datatool. Is there a better one or is that a good choice? I just hope this bird behaves unlike the last one which has been returned to the shop.

I've got an Acumen Cat 1 which has been good - also gives you hazard lights when necessary!!!!!!!!! h1d1ng2

i had a datatool system 3 on a previous bike. the alarm didn't cause any problems - only the muppet who fitted it by leaving the wires trapped between to sharp objects, eventually leaving me stranded in south london

i don't bother with alarms anymore - the only time a bike has ever gone wrong on me (touch wood) was because of the alarm... except when i had a faulty cct fitted:rolleyes:

Alarms

Have just fitted a Datatool system 3, to my Blackbird, cost ?146 inc p&p.

Took about seven hours to fit, as i'm a fussy f**ker..

Had a Datatool system 3 fitted to my last two bikes, no problems...

Highly recommend them.
