Glad to see the back of this week.
Covid outbreak at work.
Rear led tail light on the Bird is not playing nicely. Need a new one.
Left wing mirror installed on the Bird.
What a feckin palaver that was.
Buried the cat in the garden today.
Been missing since last Wednesday.
Mrs & the lad found him dead under
an abandoned shed a couple of houses away. Think he's been clipped with a car? Shit hole of a week.

No rope, but if its an EFI I have PILES of replacement LED assembly inserts... Easy to change, cost you the postage ( and I may just chuck you a spare too )

I think we tried before John.
Mines a carby so a no go I'm afraid.
I found 2 replacements, the one i've got now, but for £50 Inc postage & a cheapy from a reputable oriental site for £21.
I will fit the cheapy first, see how long that lasts?
Thanks anyhow.

Why not get an EFI undertray and fit an EFI tail light .. Much better all round
It is one of the few things the EFI has over a proper carby one :)

Never thought of that.
Would it not be simplar to doctor the original one using a dremel or multitool? Looking at these pics, seems that the reflector is the only obstacle.
Assuming the fixing points are the same height & width?
