Oooooo John ya just brought back memories..
I can remember drooling over a B34 with the RRT2 gearbox in the local bikeshop.. now those were the days..
the sound of a Goldie having the nads screwed off it up the local burn up road.
I feel sorry for these young whippersnappers with more power than they know what to do with.

Jaws me old son, you take life far too seriously sometimes and have made some rather large assumptions. For information:
a) I don't dislike the bike but I dislike blinkered perspectives & ignorance
b) FWIW consider the Barge to be one of the best Tourers around still!
c) I honestly couldn't give a stuff about the bike as it's only a bike
d) How can I dislike "most people" here as firstly I've not met "most" of them and secondly how d'ya know they are people and not mere contributors to a webiste
e) As for being beneath me? Don't know where ya get that from other than other contributors insecurity possibly?
If people want to take my comments to heart then they need to get a life.
I hang around because I choose to keep in contact with various individuals via this site and like (many others) to occasionaly take the piss.

A slight aside but something I would like to say..

ref my post directed at Joe re Barge etc etc.. I do not have anything agin Joe in any way shape or form. As FB rightly said his posts are a bright point on the forum..
I get ranty at constant sniping at the Bird.. I understand that Joe is not being nasty but just having a larff like the rest of folk on here.. I just get bitter and twisted on occasions..

I therefore feel it only right and proper I say sorry to Joe for me being a saddo who suffered a sense of humour failure !
