Sat right next to me is the grey-haired old git who is currently rebuilding the first ever twin seat spit. The unique, the only EVER, Mk VIII T. If you'd like some pics, I'll put them in the sponsors only area as it's being kept under wraps a bit at present, so we don't want every anorak copying them and posting them all over the aviation sites.

Anyone who wants to see it in the flesh is most welcome, with a bit of notice.

Came in (after being in the USA for years) with a crappy Packard Merlin engine, but they've found the original engine it was built with and it's going back in.

It's a long project, starting a year ago and there may be another year to go yet, depending on what the owner decides to do about the cockpit paint.

We've got hundreds of shots of various parts/components as himself photographs everything to keep records straight.

I can't get excited over the bulk of the shots, but I know lots do.
