Next weekend

14 Aug - BBQ at my place - around 20.00hrs
http://www.streetmap.co.uk will find us if you enter the postcode
XXXXXX - LOL
End house

All food provided by me and Jane but bring your own beers/drinks etc LOL !!

People wanting to stay overnight have/should book here

http://www.travelinn.co.uk/TI/index.jsp?page=inn&id=50

There's a Sainsbury's within 5 minutes walking distance of the Travel Inn

I'll arrange to collect people from the Travel Inn between 19.00-19.30

Then taxi back so you can all have a beer [or three]

Then Sunday morning - meet at Travel Inn for 09.30 as me and Chunky, Shaun and me have organised a mega ride out through the Derbyshire mountains

Lunch at Castleton [home of the Blue John mines etc]
via some wicked twisty B roads that we discovered yesterday - then Cat and Fiddle - back to our place for a mid-afternoon coffee and cheerios [not the breakfast cereal!!]

Let me know if you're able to make Sat and/or Sunday so we can cater accordingly please?

Myself and the Mrs are hopeing to come on the rideout tomorrow (sunday). which travel lodge is it that you are meeting at, and also what sort of pace will be set as we have'nt been on any rideouts yet so we are novices. presumably it is an all - dayer

Is a lunp
also what sort of pace will be set

if bert is leading, i have seen faster walking. shite even cycle clips can overtake him on his hog!!!.

But If grasshopper or postman pat is leading then it should be at an ok pace.
