Thanks for the info but may be i got the wrong forks the zx12 ones i got are off a 2002 model...and top and bottom bearings are same size ,oh never looked into this but may be carb [like mine] is different from injection..top bearing ressess is 47mm od bottom is 55mm od on my bike.. the zx12r bearings are both the same 55od 35id..Tried to get a bearing at bearing services but they only have normal roller races this size and it looked as flimsey as fu** and was to cost ?44.00 plus vat..So off to the machine shop tommorow to resolve the problem by getting thr yoke stem machined and re threaded to suit the blackbird bearings if poss???

ps what model and year are your zx12r yokes off ,,perhaps it might be cheaper to get a different yoke...cheers

I've used both A1/A2 forks and yokes and currently have B5/6 forks in A1/2 yokes - std tapers certainly fit straight into injected frames.

Well then build finnished ,been out today sun 23rd may did not try anything daft [not yet anyway]and all seems pretty good very stable and great stoppers..going to mess about with setting and get one hopefully that suits my riding...

OH the only top and bottom yoke that fits is off the 2000-2001 model...straight in it goes no probs..just get new bearings and it fits a treat...

wheel of kawa looks pretty shit ,thinkin of getting 320mm disks off something and fitting them to blackbird wheel and make up new spindleto suit ,ill let yous know how it goes...may be blade or sp1????

photos to follow..soon
