Zx12r front end bird conversion

Rather than hijack taffys for sale thread in the rehoming part I thought I'd ask in a separate thread.

I'd never thought about putting a zx12r front on the bird. In taffs thread Russ posted a picture of his bird with the zx12r front conversion. I have to say it looks rather sharp and effective.

To those who have had it done, how does it ride, did you have a 6mm shim before and was there any difference after, was the braking better, did the bird front wheel fit or did it need the matching kwaka wheel and lastly, was it worth it?

Never ridden mine as it is still in project mode, but the use of the spacer will be dependent on a good many factors, including personal choice.. Not really a question that can actually be answered with any certainty ..

Stu is correct mate, my bike I posted is our touring bike and has a 2010 Busa front end.

My other bike below has the 2009 radial ZX12 front end. :-0)@tu*

Goodness me, was you forced to do that paint or was the medication late in arriving?

the zx12 front I was mentioning was the one in the for sale section
