Youtube.. how do you upload ( as in format ) ?

Just uploading a video.. I am doing it in MP4 formate

Upload time is 2 hours 20 minutes ! ( it is a bit long at 30 minutes but still )

Is there a faster ( as in more compressed ) formate I could use to better the upload time ?
( My bb speed is painfully slow at best ! )

Shouldn't take that long to upload a 30 minute clip john .


Couple of questions

Are you editing the movie files directly from the SD CARD ?

Or

Did you save the movie files to your PC BEFORE you edited and then saved the clip ?

This alone will make a big difference in upload time to YouTube

MP4 or H.264 compression is probably the best format available for uploading videos to YouTube as it retains the best video quality .

How many MG/GB is the file size of you video ?

There are other formats you could use to upload quicker but the main compromise Is the more you compress the file the more potential for quality to be lost in afraid .

1.2 gig, and from the PC.. If I tried to do it from the card it would proly take days LOL !!
