im sat with a glass of jameson's taking stock of a real busy week, who would have thought that scotland and N ireland would have done so well :yo: and now that i'v finished another weekends work in scotland i want to go play england again im all arse for elbow its high time we got a good gig in wales (you listening stan, blu:bow: ) and then we could say weve partied the uk:beer:

My bestest ever party wasn't in the UK it was on a beach in Jacksonville florida, the Beech belonged to Oliver Reed, he wasn't there but his son was.
Best party in England was in Plymouth along with a load of Scotsmen :yo:

Best pint (Exmoor Gold) in the Stalybridge Station Buffet Bar. In fact they do more good beers than you could shake a stick at.

Best Fish and Chips has got to be Bispham on honeymoon

Rolfy I didnt start work in Wilmslow until 1968 and it was going then. The chippy I'm referring to was at the bottom of Church Street opposite the George?.

Why does everyone use the "W" word around me... it seriously makes me want to vomit...even after I got Monday over it still makes me sick.......

Actually punchy, we used to live on Sylvan avenue, and my great aunt & Uncle used to own The Farmers Arms, up Moor Lane by Lindow common... and they brought me up real good by feedin me best bitter in my little "bottle" to keep me happy... The pub probably isnt there any more...

Some of my relatives still have places up there... I miss it at times:blush:

Still, at work in 1968 ??? I wuz only 13 then and didnt know wot girls wuz 4 ...OK, so the last bit aint true...LOL... Theys for washin & cookin n stuff...:lick:
