Yoke washer

Hey guys, I'm trying to remove the top yoke washer to sort out a ram mount but I am finding it a touch tight. May I ask if anyone knows how it is fitted in e.g. Bonded / threaded / interference as I do not want to wreck it during removal.

Cheers all @tu*

Don't bother get a Telferizer. Saves any messing about, just poke through the hexagonal hole , tighten up and it's done.
As far as getting the old nut off , mine just unscrewed!

I removed mine recently and it was just a matter of prising off the centre cap and then using a hex driver to remove the nut. It came off pretty easily and didn't seem to be thread locked.

A perfectly good set up is achievable with RAM parts for a fraction of the cost of the other gear mentioned above.

The top nut on both my Birds has been tight - both have needed a nudge :eek:with a punch and hammer to get them moving.
