hmmmm this month i have ridden the sv, the bird, the krink, but have tinkered with all 3 and a cbr100fn, a vfr.
sv has about the same torque as the bird but weight about 45kg less and makes 30bhp less, but the bird just doesnt have the air induction roar like the sv. bird also returns more mpg around town but the sv kills the birds mpg out and about on a run.
more at home on the bird though, suppose 12yrs of owning it does that. bird is also quicker for me around town due to the above.
But sv is easier to ride quicker out of town, and the sv brakes make the birds ones feel shit. More stopping power, more feel/feedback.
both can do the distance, but both give smiles for different reasons. bird is sorted for me now, but sv needs tweaking to suit me.

Ahh another fellow stealth blackbird owner...I know you cant beat a nice shiny bird but my matt bird turns a few heads
