Yes it is obviously different but the style cue's are there

Crikey, haven’t seen one of those for donkeys years.

Superb bit of styling.

All it lacked was a decent engine.

And gearbox.

Oh, and suspension!

For the time I reckon most of it was pretty good
It had a 120 block 5 bearing crank 1500, the gear box was bullet proof, as was the diff
Starter and ring gear ( as per all fords of the time ) was terrible but the suspension was ok'ish ( esp for the time ) with Macpherson struts up front and although a live axle they did have a panhard rod helping keeping things in place
There are a few still racing today !
