Was watching who do you think you are and they showed this. All demolished except for chapel.
Largest brick built building in the world at the time. Was 1/4 mile long.

The troops wounded in France were in the station at the hospital within 24 hours after being wounded.

It remained the largest brick built building until 1928 when the rail station at Somport opened

That was on one of the history channels about a year ago.. Pretty sure it was built in concrete not brick
It was.
Nazi's playing mind games with their own public.
Not in use now, the original use was 'holiday homes' but that was where the mind games went on to bring the public onside with the Nazi's.
