This months Ride magazine did a multi-test on tyre pressure gauges. As you might expect, the Snap-on gauge did very well, - Recommended in fact. Very good value at ?21ish. Best accuracy in the test at 0.25psi deviation.

But, would you believe, Best Buy went to the Halfords Mini Digital at only ?4.99. Honest!! Check it out.

Accurate to 0.4psi, but took the honours 'cos it fits in yer pocket.

Well blow me down... or up... as the case may be!!

cos it won't fit the 'Bird!!!!!....Not enough clearance between valve stem and wheel centre.:B

Yup The Snap on ones are a bit pricy but are well worth the wedg but as you say a wee bit heavy in the old pocket but ok in the tank bag....

That's interesting.

What's your views on the theory of of running a few pounds less like some people preach about...? Is this a big no-no....
