World Superbikes 2020

Still kickin' it!
"Redding has obviously had enough questions about the new Honda, as he said after being seen
running for a couple of laps behind Bautista, “I honestly don’t know why people keep asking me
about the Honda because I don’t give a fuck. It is irrelevant to me."

How could anyone not love the guy? :clapclap:

A seriously under-rated rider. I think his riding style is far better suited to Superbike than MotoGP. He's way above average size and weight for MotoGP bikes anyway, which are built with underfed leprechauns in mind.
Besides which, he has a personality.... and the MotoGP paddock can't cope with that....

Yes, a seriously under-rated rider. I don’t think he’s better suited to WSB, though: he was never given a chance to show his ability in MotoGP because he never had the equipment that would have allowed him to do so.

To my mind, he’s followed much the same path as Jonathan Rae, who stayed with Honda loyally and for years, riding inferior machinery and achieving results that went against all the odds. Like Rae, Scott Redding has sufficient determination, knowledge, experience, talent and adaptability to be successful at any level - and it’s because of him that there's going to be another very interesting year in WSBK in 2020. As much as I would like to see Rea get another title, (hopefully harder fought) I too will be shouting for Redding.

If anyone is interested there are two testing days for BSB in April.

2nd April - Silverstone
22nd April - Oulton Park

It was free entry last year. (At Oulton)
With great access for photography.

Went to the Oulton test a couple of years ago, you can wander up and down the pit lane at will looking in the garages and almost getting run over by mechanics wheeling bikes out.
It's good etiquette to leave the riders alone until after testing, when most are then willing to chat to folks.

I'd love it if The Grinner could finish ahead of Rea. Used to shout for Sykesy when he was competing in the Virgin Cup. (y)

Anyone fancying a meetup or ride to Oulton for the test day 22nd April, lemme know! :)
