that's because he is stuck on the hard shoulder of the M62, having ignored the obvious, most common Bird issues that are likely, sorry, extremely likely, to have caused the problem.

Ooops, just had an update....Geoff Boycott agrees with Derek, it is watered down petrol that is causing the problem.

After a night on charge it started first time, left at work till tea time, started first time.

Geoffrey boycott is not a Yorkshire man as he supports Manchester United.

Couldn't be stuck on the hard shoulder of the m62 as that is several miles from my route home, I usually don't even use the m1 as there is a nice twisty route home using back roads.man8um

You can get over 30 miles on a fully charged battery on an FI, more on a carb, so don't count your ferrets just yet Derek unless you have done 50 or more miles since recharging.

Hope you are sorted though, even if my head says you aren't.
