Wirral Egg Run

This Egg Run which has been going for 25 years has been banned from running this year. Reason? The Police and the Council have doubts over the safety of it! After meeting all of the stipulations laid down over the last 8 months of negotiations, the organising committee have given up. There has never been an accident in all of it's 25 year history. There has been a few letter's to the local papers complaining of being held up whilst upto 5000 bikes go past!
I feel really sorry for the kids at Clatterbridge Hospital. I hope the senior Police and Council Officers who banned this are feeling very proud of themselves today. Sad, pathetic w******!

Clive from the Northern Cloggers is running an Egg run to Manchester with a ride out after. Might just forego the rideout had head for the Wirral. Might be fun
