Probably been done before but I'm looking to get some winter tyres on the saab got some on the vectra, goodyear ones but they cost me near on ?600 for 4 last year was wondering if anyone had used the remould ones for a fraction of the cost and if they are any good?
I comute nearly 80 miles a day and live in the hills so need decent grip from the tyres in very cold conditions

Ive just flogged a set of Hankook winter tyres I used on the old Volvo last winter, they made a hell of a difference and they weren't that expensive (I think they were advertised for about ?60 each) and I'm in the same boat as you for commuting but only 60 miles a day !

Hankook tyres are pretty good stuff. Came as standard on a little Kia I got for the misses and they allow for a fair bit of fun on the twisties :-0) also lasted reasonably well for a FWD shopping trolley.
