who to report solicitors to??

scottish law in play here
short version, am executor to aunts estate and cant sell anything until i have confirmation, which means tax man needs paying before i get that document

solicitor so far has had 7 months to get this

( plenty of cash in estate to pay it ( over ?200000 )

her 10 plate car is looking like a shit box rust bucket
her 10 yr old house is falling apart as no one living in it, unable to sell, all these due to not having this document

impression i get it is with the money the solicitor has pulled in from the banks he is paying his own fees, collecting interest and only bothering his arse if we ring and if he answers or bothers to call back after many messages left
almost like, he only bothers if we annoy him.
considering he is charging ?8000 for this supposed service im peed off"

Basically you report them to their mates, who always side with them!

There is little chance of redress

thing is this

he has taken so long we are now paying interest on the tax bill because he has not got the funds from the likes of the halifax/rbs etc who are sat on ?120.000
and not showing any sign of releasing funds

he says that he cant get them to part with the money

i say take em to court for it plus damages etc

at some stage the tax man will seize property to pay it
