Not my favourite bassist by a long chalk, saw him on tv quite a few years ago and he came across as a right twat.

Fun fact - he started out as a drummer and ended up working in a music store; a lot of music store types were apparently multi-instrumentalists so he learned to play bass and was very good at it.

No doubt he's an incredible player, just not my bag. I prefer the likes of Jaco Pastorius (RIP), Billy Sheehan, Muzz Skillings, Louis Johnson, John Entwhistle, Duff McKagan, Jason Newsted, to name a few.
