Thanks Andy... We have booked a hotel in the Kazimierz area....About a 15 min walk from the main area of the city. So looking forward to going back again
Don’t know if it’s on your agenda but Auschwitz is recommended, as are the salt mines. Schindler’s Factory was OK but not as highly recommended. Hopefully the amazing vodka bar about the size of a single garage on the main drag is still there.....

I've done Auschwitz and the Salt Mines before, in shall we say a different life!!, so will definitely be going back. Both amazing places that everyone should visit in their lifetime. Hoping the small pizza place in a old church is still there. We're going to be there when the Xmas Market is on too so looking forward to that

The Xmas market in Krakow is very good........best we have been to are Vienna and Cologne, both of which have six or seven going..

Same old crap sold in Xmas markets all over Europe though:emule:.

Best Xmas place we have been to in about twenty years of hitting them mid December is Tivoli Gardens in Copenhagen. Genuinely beautiful place, as is Copenhagen. One of the nicest places we have visited.

I don't doubt there is the same crap sold... Seen it on the one in Birmingham. My good lady wants to go and we normally do London around Xmas but wanted a change.
