Where's Clive got to today then?

OK, so what's Clive had to suffer since the last postings? Well, hey, 24,000 miles is a long way to go for a fish supper! Well, a whitebait flan actually.... and it's a baking hot morning, so I suppose that's a whitebait breakfast:

You think they'd get their act together....

...and solve this problem of all these billiard table smooth bends that just go on for km after km, and replace 'em with good old British worn and patched tarmac with overbanding, and straighten them out a bit.....

Feels a bit lonely after a while....

...only seeing a dozen or so other vehicles all day, especially on a major 'A' road like this...

Ahhh, Jeez Honey....

...but it was your suggestion that I go and visit a friend! And, you did say 'down south', remember?

:k

Russ: Wasn't me. I was just getting a flight down to Heathrow and the buggers mis-directed me! Hey, but at least my baggage ended up at Heathrow.

Well ......

It looks like a fantastic place for a bike.

Me and the missus had planned to go there for our 25th Wedding Anniversaty last year, looked into hiring a VFR and touring the South Island, had all sorts of plans, but then looked at the overall cost and how much we had saved up and, well, gave up !!

Got some friends over there right now on their 25th Anniv, but they planned it right so saved up in enough time !!

Ah well, there's always our 50th, with motorised zimmer frames !!
