Reason this sort of thing is not done by poll is cos we could end up in a car park or somewhere equally unsuitable..

Runs abroad are great and I encourage everyone to do them, but as stated elsewhere there are a good many folk who simply cannot afford it or for other reasons cannot go.

As also said elsewhere, if folk want to organise runs to Europe, I would be very happy to start a dedicated section for it, as long as there are at least a couple of people willing to stand up and be counted as organisers..
Me, I tend to chuck a tent on the back, ride until I am too fecked to carry on, then simply pull off the road into a wooded area and pitch tent.
That is far from everyones ideal so I preclude myself from being an organiser !

Now, Steve and Aly have got a venue lined up and are working on all things bashy already.
Unfortunately due to circumstance it is difficult for them to get internet access.. So Tony, I would ask you to interface for us and get an update from the daring duo and post it up here

Just out of interest - what was wrong with the beer garden - since there was no marquee there this year that should have been freed for camping.

Camping in the beer garden is sort of asking for someone to trample the tents down and proly get em sicked and pissed on too

Its kinda out of the door of the pub and there ya go..

All piss taking aside, I think the only serious issues were
1) Toilet facility, or lack of, until the guv'nor decided to open up ( Sat. morning that meant about 0940 and a lot of folk with crossed legs ! )
2) Totally unforseeable this one.. It was decided to go into town for a chinky. Would you believe there is not a chink restaurant in the whole area ..

At least you tried Smix.. A lot more than a lot of others have done.

I have spoken to steve today about what as been sorted and this was his reply

" Due to new job they had not had the time to sort anything after being let down with 2 venues. smix called Al and said a guy call Dark Rider was sorting it in Alcester ,Warwickshire "

these are his words and he appologises for letting everyone down. so i guess its talk to Dark Rider see what he knows or its back to the drawing board.

errr - point one was known - I think pointed out by others before you all went.
