ide love to know if it is possable ide love to have a 200 series tire on the back but it aint gunna happen with tthe stock 5.5 inch rim. the CBR 954 also had a 6.0 inch rear, so im thinking those rims to but dunno if it would work.

Mitch, I am sure you have your reasons mate, but may I ask why you want to slow the steering down ? I would have thought the Bird turns slow enough as it is without making matters worse ?

Whats the reasoning ??

the reason is because with the streatch i did and with the nitro kit the rear tire tends to spin alot more, and even a little more surfice area to the ground and a stickier tire would help that, not to mention i hate the look of the stock rim. but your right im really not helping the fact the bike turns slow but i figure they built the RR for killing the corners, the blackbird is a comfortable top speed bike. most of the riding i do is on our big canadian highways, they are alot different in europe, lol or at least the last time i was there.

Fitting RC51 front would be a bit of a pain, it runs a much thicker wheel spindle and is slightly wider, the discs will not fit from the bird and the SP's disc is a 320mm instead of a 310mm so this would not work either.

As for the rear wheel, forget it, sorting the rear brake out would be a nightmare, plus spindle and spacing problems again.

I run a 6" mag alloy rear wheel in mine but the largest tyre that will fit is a 190.
