That was good! - but the following was really amazing.... and I swear is true!

Did any of you guys see that footage at one of the American ovals, saloon car racing, where a driver suffered a tyre deflation. He kept the car under control but the tyre came OFF the rim, rolled adjacent to the car whilst progressing up the banking toward the upper wall, kissed off the wall, lost some speed so made it's way back down the banking, still adjacent to the car which was also slowing, and then hit the wheel rim and went BACK ON the wheel!!!

And before the wise cracks, no, it didn't pump itself back up again :neenaw:

Sounds blerry incredulous to me!!

Can you get some video footage of that incident?? Must be somethin' to see......... :lol:

I saw it on the tv about a year ago and have been surprised it hasn't done the rounds on the internet. I'll have a search about when I get a mo, but I haven't a clue what the race was or what circuit even. All I remember it was saloon cars on an American oval.
