What risers have I got?

As mentioned previously, only bought the bike a week or so back and went out yesterday for the first proper ride. Using these pictures, can anyone tell me what make bar risers I've got please? Also I'm assuming I've got the mirror extenders fitted - can anyone confirm? Thanks in advance.

They look like Jaws bar risers and yes you have mirror extenders fitted.
What were your first impressions of your new ride?

Engine is a powerhouse. Bike is long and low. Bars were less of a problem than I was expecting but I still fancy getting the flatbar conversion as this is what I'm used to. The biggest problem for me was the legroom as I had a knee operation last year and I'm used to more room on naked and adventure bikes. Might need to get the footpeg lowering kit although I understand this will only give 25mm more so not sure? One thing is for sure you can see that Honda created a quality product as it still looks fantastic. Not sure that modern bikes are made as well these days.

Been there, and had one

I've got Jaws risers on mine and yours look identical. I'd try the Jaws footpeg lowering kit. That 25mm doesn't sound a lot but I found it helped my knackered old knees a lot.

They are Jaws risers and mirror extenders
BUT
it looks like they not been fitted quite correctly
Nowt really wrong with how they have been done, but the fork legs have been slid up through the yokes to decrease the fork geometry make the bike turn in quicker.
This has been done instead of fitting a 6mm spacer on top of the shock

Presumably when I fit the flatbar kit which I've just ordered I can drop the forks through the yokes again?

Yup, no probs. Drop them back down so the security clip grove is 1 to 2mm above the new handlebar brackets.
BTW, have you got the original fork caps, cos your gonna need a pair...

Put the straight bar brackets on top of the risers??
Yes, you could do that, but you will have to replace at least the throttle cables and proly front brake line, though chances are you will get away with the clutch line
But... a pair of fork caps of a bird or indeed a Zuk bandit from fleabay will proly be about a tenner

Brakes - It's got a de-linked braided hose set up fitted, Jaws I think? They look long enough? Clutch also braided hose.

Apologies, its taken me a while to understand but using frequent views of the pictures on Jaws site and comparing it to my pictures I have finally grasped what you are telling me John! I think I will keep the risers on (thanks Dickiebird) and mount the straight bar kit on top, replacing throttle cables and hoses as required. I'm also going to raise the forks through the yoke again and fit a 6mm spacer on the shock.

I fitted a braided clutch line to mine, although I ran it for quite a while with0ut doing so until one day I started to pull off from home and spotted a spurt of clutch fluid shooting skyward ! Replaced hose with said braided variety (one meant for a carbie) and never had anymore problems . Still kept original brake lines ,but also fitted throttle cables meant for the carb version. P.S.you may have to trim the screen a bit to get clearance for the master cylinders when on full lock. I used a flap wheel in the Black and Decker . Ten minute job. Depends which screen is fitted.

thumbnail_IMG_1127.jpg thumbnail_IMG_1128.jpg thumbnail_IMG_1129.jpg thumbnail_IMG_1131.jpg OK so the straight bar kit and peg lowering kit arrived and they are now fitted. Left the risers on and mounted the straight bars on top. Also fitted heated grips while I was at it. As suggested had to cut the screen down a bit too. See what you think of my photos.
