Put a Relum Tornado together apart from the tap which i cant get for another week then I can get it sold

Stripped a BSA Meteor Cadet that multiple people have tried to fix and cant, think most of them must have been letting their guide dogs do the work as its blindingly obvious what the problem is ..... bits ordered and that will be done tomorrow, should make the owner happy (y)

Stripped and rebuilt my quite rare Japanese S.A.R, nothing much wrong with that just needed a degrease and service, Lucy will love shooting that as its the kids sized version

Sold an SMK th208 I only finished last night and went the post office to send it off

Apart from that I have been in negotiations about buying a post war BSA breakdown and a pre war Militia and that has been hard going so far

Dismantled the choke plunger starter + spring out of the MZ carb side as it was not releasing on the switchgear cable.
Gave it a gunk bath, reassembling was
errrrrm a two hat and I didn't complete
it. Will have to release the cable nipple
on the switchgear side to give me a bit
more length....Ooooer mrs!

Managed to find a way to avoid test driving the Dacia Duster :( we have on trial at work and at the same time get it rejected as a suitable replacement for the Shogun/Shogun sports we currently use.

We were told to evaluate the manual diesel 2wd and complete an assessment report form.

Instead I went direct to Dacia and asked a couple of questions :)

We need 4WD auto diesel and the only options with a Dacia are auto 2wd petrol or diesel 4wd manual. We can't use petrol in our environment as it goes "whoosh" far too easily and with three radios plus other equipment to operate while driving we need auto.

My colleagues are grateful and procurement have egg on their faces, double bonus :) :)

Cops here had Mondoes. I'm reliably told they were very happy with them.
Now they have Hyundai...........

They also changed the jeeps. New ones don't have the same boot capacity for all the junk they carry.

A few years ago a few guys were caught for selecting a particular tyre.......

Discovered another two things that weren’t working as they aren’t speaking to the new router - printer and aRing front door bell.

Flipping Ring has a five digit pin that is needed to connect to router…..no record of it anywhere in all the packaging and leaflets that came with it, had to take th effing bell push off the front of the house as the pin is on the back of it. Highly secure (not…)

Mobed the big outdoor parasol to be in front of the lounge windows to at least stop some of the sunshine battering us. The replacement blinds can’t arrive too soon!
Spent a considerable time wondering whether to have a full scale row with someone….decided I would be the better man and just ignore them. Twat.

Can’t we just agree that I’m right about football without falling out?

Hospital visit at the JR left home 11.45 got back 5pm a long day. I can't blame the hospital only had to wait 15 mins after appointment time to see a very nice and thorough Dr, had to have blood tests waiting time 10 minutes. The whole experience was very good and reassuring.

Missed first bus into Oxford, just missed hospital bus and had to wait 30mins, then coming out just missed the hospital bus again, annoyingly just came out of hospital as it left, but thankfully only had to wait 10 mins for bus out of Oxford

Fettled the choke on the MZ, tank back on
& connected up to carb, fired her up & tweaked the idle screw. Lid on and rolled
out the garage for a couple of do's round
the block.....Big smiley face later and i'm
a happy bunny. Just need the indicators
sorting out then MOT and i'm offski!
Sounds sweet as a nut for a thumper.

Went to Kilkenny to visit my cousin.
Got a drive in this. It's her daughter's fiancée's father's car.Screenshot_20220809-192134_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20220809-192143_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20220809-192138_Gallery.jpg
Whole place very sad. Nobody working the farm anymore. In my teens I used to spend summers there, cartoning milk, ploughing, cutting silage, delivering milk.

Was back at one time, I was in my 20s, and the silage cutting machine was in the shed. I tried lifting it as to put it on the tractor, I found it very heavy. When I was 16 I could lift it no problem.

Been up since stupid o'clock trying to get things done before it gets too hot for me

Managed to get 3 guns wiped down and photographed ready for sale (lovely bsa lightning, janky old bsa meteor and a brand new stoeger x20) hopefully someone will snap those up as funds are seriously low now :nusenuse:

Spent an hour in conversation with a dickhead who is trying to buy another of my air rifles even though its not for sale and never has been, its bloody hard being polite to some people when all I really wanted to do is shout feck off :(

Came on here for a little light relief
