Got it yesterday but I've only got as far as transferring stuff from my old PS4 Pro. I'll be getting stuck in tonight so I'll report back after I've seen what the differences are.
Neither of us have the PS4 'Pro'.
Swapped out the HD for 1T solid state drives.
Both PS4's have a 1T external drive hooked up.
Can you do this with the PS5?

Yeah you can. I've got a 1Tb USB drive for my Pro, but I'll probably not use that as there's an expansion slot inside the PS5 to add a second SSD drive. That's going to be way faster than a USB drive. One way or another you'll probably have to extend the storage as the fitted SSD is only 825Gb.

Games load much faster from disk with it using an SSD drive

Yarp..From what I've read, the PS5 is a data muncher and like you said, add another internal SSD. Possibly take the usb drive out of it's case and see if it fits into the second PS5 expansion slot?

I've not opened mine yet but as far as I know the only internal storage expansion option is the M2 type SSD slot in jobs. Even then, it's got to meet Sony's spec (although there's plenty that do) and has to be of a certain size to fit, as the slot is tight.
Some types are apparently slighty too big because of their heat sink plate.
You could buy an external SSD but it's still not going to be as fast as fitting a second internal one. I don't think there's much difference in the price per Gb anyway.

I read somewhere that the actual usable space that the SSD has is only about 670Gb....

That's exactly same spec as the PS4.

Fitted a pair of dipping DRLs to the motorhome in addition to the pair of non-dipping ones already fitted. A bit more for the myopic car drivers to see, hopefully. Can’t have too many lights (especially with Christmas coming :aplastao: )

Went to watch eldest daughter at a horse show, she was riding one of our home bred Highlands in it’s first ever show, three classes, first one she came last out of seven. Second one she came fourth out of six, third one she came second out of seven, not bad for pony’s first time out. Testament to the hours of hard work Sarah’s put in.

Took the BMW for a walk.
Came across a potential photorally point and sent it to organiser. A grotto in the countryside.

Discovered heated grips not working!!!

Yesterday - vacuumed, dusted the inside of the Panzer and polished the glass. Washed the outside, polished all glass and added a coat of rain-ex type stuff.

Went for breakfast in a newly opened 1940s themed cafe that has opened in town.

Really interesting place, loads of genuine uniforms on display, loads of brilliant framed photos on the walls and Glenn a Miller/big band music playing. Staff dressed in 1940s gear.

Very moving section on the child soldiers that were conscripted to defend Berlin.

The food was decent but the prices certainly weren’t 1940s.

And the floor didn’t look like it had been cleaned since the 1940s.
