not sure what is going on here, they are normally causing carnage well before 6, not a peep from either of them yet….we are taking them out at 10, handing them back at 13.00 so there is hope…..
We got to 7.30 so I will take that.....especially after being out half the night on calls

Walked my mother's stupid dog. That's my stepdads garden glove he pinched on the way out. (Those are Mrs L's legs, not mine).

Booked our first overseas holiday in nearly 3 years & picked up some rail tickets to Nottingham as my first day in my new job tomorrow I'm off to a team meeting.

Shooting first thing, the lads tell me the mercury is grouping well at 30 yards, they had to tell me as although i could see the target well enough to aim over open sights I had no chance of actually seeing where the pellets were landing ...... a scope is the next thing on the shopping list (y)

Happy it shoots ok now but know it needs a couple of seals and will probably need a piston seal as well and its dieseling slightly so over greased/oiled, will strip it down when i get a moment over the next couple of days, sort the seals and maybe re-blue the trigger guard while I am there (undecided on whether to refinish the stock)

Had the estate agent out to value the house, didn’t bode well when he asked us what we thought it was worth, his value was at least £20,000 below ours, he then said “there’s nothing in the area to judge it on” he then tried selling us a package so investors in London could view it online, contacting some more estate agents tomorrow but may well end up selling it ourselves.

My mate came over and took the carb apart, swapped out what diaphragms and
o rings we had in the repair kit.
It wasn't as gummed up as I first thought.
Fecked about trying to get the rear led indicators to work...New Led relay too.
Had them working, but fecked if I can remember how? Doing my nut in.

Had a chat with a chap I know who’s also had a bypass operation, although his was 20 years ago. It’s interesting to discuss it with someone who has ‘walked the walk’ to give me some info on what to expect.

coincidentally his surgeon is the same as mine, although our surgeries were over 200 miles apart.

Remote surgery.

One surgeon is WFH, he video calls the other surgeon in the theatre, on his mobile phone. The nurse holds the mobile phone over the patient and the first surgeon directs the second surgeon with a series of left/right/up/down/cut/swab/stitch instructions.

Kind of like The Golden Shot with blood.

And so to this afternoon. Wifey called the surgery this morning and after I had a chat with the doc he sent out a paramedic they now employ to check me over.

After a number of checks on me, she’s having to discuss me with the doctor when she returns as my blood pressure drops off when I stand up, and she’s concerned enough I need either to whizz back to hospital for ecg or maybe a tweak of my meds.

it’s such a joy getting old

Latest farce with the insurance company.

Can’t be bothered explaining it.

All it needs is for them to join the dots up and to try and be one step ahead of the game at all times.
