Well..The MZ Mastiff got delivered today,
a day early. No complaints. Very tidy for a
2004 plate. It's tiny compared to the other
two beasties and very manageable moving it around the garage.
Fired up first time and that classic single cylinder thump! thump! thump! put a silly boy'ish grin on my mug.
All service history, MOT's and even the original owners manual and warranty booklet came with it.
6 previous owners, i'm the lucky 7th.
It won't be sold in my lifetime.
Happy days.

Woke to find the pump that supplies hot water to everything bar the showers isn’t working.

Terrific.

For some reason reminds me of a guy who made porridge in a kettle once.
It was after a long night on the beer and all the kitchen stuff was in the sink.

Don't think the kettle was ever used again. Couldn't clean it, which is probably what I was thinking of with no hot water.

Which reminds me....I must add "visit Planet Squag" to my bucket list.

up into the attic, gave the pump some delicatemaintenance - a hefty tap with a screwdriver - tap and away it went, guessing flow switch was stuck. Oh joy. Put all the tools away, got out of my work clothes, went to wash my hands and flipping thing has stopped again. Gave it another tap and off it went but noisy….

Will be off to Screwfix in a minute for a new pump…on the bright side they still sell the same one so it’s a straightforward replacement.

Bugger.

Went to the Doctors only to be told I’ve got a Spanish village on my shoulder, hopefully get it removed before they do the Bull run.

Went to Screwfix to get a replacement pump. Drove home. Took pump out of box to find it faulty. Drove back to Screwfix for a replacement. Came home, installed it, jobs a good un.
