Today I will be not going for the planned walk along the cliffs:(

I will be installing a new rotary washing line (can I be lucky enough that the really heavy duty galvanised spike will hammer straight into the ground per the instructions....I'm not holding my breath that a) it will and b) if it does it will be perfectly upright) and putting a bit of mastic around the edge of the bespoke ducting cover I made yesterday to finish it off nicely where it meets the coving I had to cut.

Living the dream...

All of the above.

Only leaves about another fifteen hours to fill....

Recommisioned my old moto guzzi.
After 7 or so years being a collection of bits scattered around the workshop it came to life today...sounds great !
Ran it for a while then changed the oil and filter... tappets on left cylinder need looking at.... a job for tomorrow !
What model is it ?
They did some lovely bikes over the years... The Guzzi museum at Mandello Del Lario is a must see place.. Free to enter and has guided tours

Y’know I got into such an argument down the pub last year about the same subject, on voicing my memories of shooting cats that shit in yer garden I was labelled cruel, and vicious.
When I explained what they were hit with the attitudes changed, Milbro a well known maker of air gun ammunition used to make a specific cat pellet consisting of a oiled felt cylinder that would not penetrate the fur even, let alone the skin, the intention was to frighten the cat as it was about to commit but not harm it, a deterrent so to speak, after all who really wants to harm some child’s pet?
They worked! Cat’s are intelligent they learn quick and all done with no more harm than a twat with a newspaper.
