My reply...

Wanted it in orange, but they don't do that colour for the Morini, so asked for gold. They do one for the Bird too, strangely IN orange?

Sorted.

I hate receiving presents.
Daughters both spend far too much on things that I don’t need, I would be happy with just buying kids a main prezzie & a couple of stocking fillers instead of the hundreds we spend on them or should I say Bev spends on them.

My daughter got us doing Secret Santa.
5 in the group.
I get an email telling me who I have to buy for. So I only buy and get one present and everyone is happy with the arrangement.
As like you I don't get a load of stuff I don't need or maybe don't like.

Wife has told me that my main present is going to be the best one she's ever bought me....

So if I don't see an Aston Martin V8 Vantage in sunset yellow on the drive on the 25th then I'll be tripping over my lower lip well into the New Year.

A windowsill (also written window sill or window-sill, and less frequently in British English, cill) is the horizontal structure or surface at the bottom of a window. Window sills serve to structurally support and hold the window in place.

When it hurts me to say it, I think DK might be correct :( (with or without wiki).

I grew up always using cill and convinced all others calling it sill were heathen gobshites :)

However, some research suggests there is much more language and historical language development supporting the "s" spelling as the more likely origins of the word

:(

And you all rose to the bait :risas3: :risas3:

I think in architectural notation it's probably cill. Same as rere rather than rear.
