Probably best to try Jaws Motorcycles. If he hasn't got it he'll probably know how to get it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Seat cowl is good (got similar for mine) - seems it has to have fittings in the seat to hold it on, so you can tell its been on there when you take it off - unless you have a second seat!!

Favourite seems to be the JAW's mushrooms (?19)..... they replace the upper lower side panel fairing bolt.

Considered opinion appears to be that the R&G's can cause nose cone damage as a slow drop results in them pivoting the nose cone into contact with the ground when it might not have otherwise done.

The 'shrooms are higher up so don't do this. At stand still or very slow you may still get fairing scratches.

I dropped mine at walking pace with 'srooms .... damage was bent front brake lever which was easily bent back, some marks on r/h bar end and lower right panel scratched .... that was it.

mine, though fairly plain alterations

had this 3 years now and tried to keep it fairly standard with not so obvious mods.
starcom system, scottoiler, mda vario screen, some nice mushrooms courtesy of here :),datatool, tank bag, heated grips, posh arse holder

was nice to see "BIKE" magazine run a article on the 'bird!

You need to be a sponsor to insert photos into a post, but you can upload them to something like Photobucket and post the link.

Now, about that sweetie..............

Hi Guys,

Thought I'd better introduce myself. Some of you may know me from the CBR6ers.

Currently riding a Baby Bird, which I've had for just over 2 years. It had 8k on it when I bought it, and has 45k now:

Not planning to change it, but should something happen, I would be seriously considering a Big Bird for a replacement.

So, I won't be posting much until then and in the meantime, I'm just skulking around to see what sort of issues you guys are having with them.

Oh, and for MTK in anticipation:
