2008 Blackbird bash booking form

Here is the booking form for the 2008 Blackbird Bash at Alveley in Shropshire.

Please can you print it off, send it to the address on the form with your payment, either in full or a minimum deposit of ?15 per person ASAP.

Also I have put options on the form for the Friday evening meal, and the RAF Cosford tour (all paid for out of your Bash fee)

You have no more to pay for apart from your normal meals Breakfast/ Saturday evening meal(Choice or 3 pubs & a chinese/chip shop), your drinks, and fuel... Camping cost/showers/games/ etc are all included...B&B's are obviously not

We already have appoximately 60 people pencilled in, so lets make this a great one... It would be nice to take the record for the number of Blackbirds on a meeting off the Dutch :bow: We have the people. Lets see if we can do it...

We will be posting an itinery of events over the next few weeks where you can opt in or out of the rides/games, and genereal sillyness..

We are currently thinking of trying a special event on Sunday evening of a "Miss Double X"contest (open only to the fella's of course- prizes will be given for the winner & runner up), so get your wives/partners thinking, and get ya names down...

Good news.......

Good news.......

I have been up to my local dealer (THe Motorcycle Mart) here in Kiddlyminister. It has just been bought & refurbished by a new owner called Steve, who was one of the directors at Streetbike in Halesowen...

He is a real nice guy, and has agreed to help "sponsor" the bash with a load of goodies for the charity auction on Sunday night...

Helmets, jackets, trousers, boots, novelties, spares, and loads of giveaways..toooo !!!!!

Lets see if that lot will tempt you miserable bunch into attending, as well as having a couple of "BIG name celebrity" guests for Saturday evening .....No names, no pack drill.........:-:

So, with less than 10 days to go, lets see if that will "up the anti"!!!!!

Sorry to say bit of a cock-up on the planning front from my end, Mrs Tank informed me last night we are attending a wedding reception on the Saturday night 24th, still coming down for Friday 23rd and we could do the ride out Saturday; we just need to head off to the Wynnstay Hotel Oswestry. For the Do.

What time are you thinking of leaving for RAF Cosford, on the Sunday? Have you a time in mind so we know what time to be back at camp, its approx 45 minutes from Oswestry to Bridgnorth.



Just asking Dave as I have put us down for the RAF ride out but if it?s a very early start need to tell you to scrub us off or we can meet you there any way if you know the leaving time please advise. :bow:

just got off the phone with Rolfie Dave, and although I've been sworn to secrecy I am able to confirm that the two "guests" really are big names and there are more than a few of you lot out there will be absolutely gutted if you don't attend,
no duff
just one of these people alone attending, would be more than enough to fill the camp site, trust me here, I wont be missing the opportunity to meet these people, and by "big names" Dave means well known/respected/popular/legend, and it's NOT a play on words, :dunno:
if your coming get your cheque's in the post ASAP, "even if you have to post date them" what with it being a bad money month for a lot of us, :blush: take Dave's and my word for it, this will be a bash worth attending just for the appearance of these "guests", let alone all the other stuff Dave and Jan have organized :bow: and they are working hard at making this bash work,
not long to go, so please let Dave and Jan have your comitment ASAP as these people may have international bookings unless he can confirm the bash is going ahead as soon as possible, miss this and I KNOW at least 8/10 "regular forum posters" will be well gutted :dunno:

Glad the numbers are on the up, its good to have a BASH within striking distance for us (if 480 miles can be said to be striking distance!) and like Ian says, now the cats out of the bag that I'm coming I'm sure there will be even more !!!
