Only the other day I was wondering how Rhino had got on. Remember one or two events with that TVR

Only just seen this :). Thanks for the welcome back. I’ve been away since about 2007/8 ish. Kept the TVR a couple of years and didn’t have another bike until I bought an ST1100 a couple of years ago, did a few thousand miles on it but missed the rush of the BIRD. After a quick chat with ‘Fat Bert’ I ended up in contact with ‘MTK’ and a deal was struck up to buy his pampered ‘06’ BIRD.

Which TVR?

I really, really hope it was the Chimera.

Proper, proper car. :).

Sounds like you got the only one that was reliable!!
It was 99% trouble free, boot latch failed once ( push pull solenoid £5 at Maplins ) and the ignition barrel red wire failed but otherwise 18k miles in 2 years it was ace. Not really that thirsty either with it being so light.
