Aint been what you would call 'lithe' since the 70's when I stopped aerial rigging..
About every two of three years ever since, I have had to seriously diet, or I turn into a total blimp

But this year, since the Italian run on the bike, I have shed weight without having to diet...
Lost a stone in the two weeks I was away ( 40c, and hard riding, not stopping to eat etc ), and the weight has continued to SLOWLY come off me.. Working like a squirrel in a nut farm on various projects is what is doing it..
When I left for Italy around 2/3rds the way through July I weighed 17st 12lbs..Weighed in this morning at 15st 11lbs

I am hoping this carries on.. I would be happy with anything around the 15st mark

That's good going (y)

I'm 6'1" and 14st 7lb. I tend not to monitor my weight as a rule, I just watch my waistline. If my keks get tight then I back off on the chocolate for a while. I'm in the gym six days a week; I sometimes train twice a day so I don't have to worry about what I eat too much. Thing is, I have a terrible sweet tooth and if it's there, I'll eat it and I'll keep going until either it's gone or I'm sick. I prolly OD on protein, too.

I am 6'5" and hve always been around the 17 - 18 stone mark which I felt comfortable with.

Then I had my illness and my weight plummeted to around 11 stone and I dropped 4 sizes in shirt and trousers.

When I started to get out and about again, everyone commented on how gaunt I looked.

The weight has gone back on a bit, and it would be nice to lose a few pounds, but I given that I have had to cut out all the sweet sugary stuff, salt, and I no longer eat or snack between meals, I don't eat buscuits or cakes, no chocolate or anything like that, and the only sugary drink I have is in my tea. Even my portions are smaller, I thnk I may struggle, so my view now is Sod It, if I cut anymore out than I already have I might as well just eat cardboard.

I now just tell myself that I am big boned (y)

I've managed to keep a 33" waist for the past 20 odd years. I can get away with it for now because of my training schedule but if I stop, then I'm buggered.

I feel for you guys that have to watch the waistline & weight, must be a real pain at times :(

I'm lucky I suppose, I can ram any amount of food in anytime I feel like it & it makes no difference to my 6 foot 10, 1/2 stone frame so am comfortable at that, the only time I went much above that was when I stopped training & hit 11 and a bit stone, that felt awful but it didn't last

While I would ideally like to drop maybe half a stone from my 6'2" 15.5 stone frame I find that if I don't snack my weight stays fairly stable. I don't particularly set out to avoid anything although I have cut my bread intake significantly this year and that made a big difference. We do eat quite healthily though, pretty much everything home made rather than sugar and salt saturated ready made stuff.

Ten minutes a day on weights first thing in the morning keeps me feeling good and, dare I say it, looking pretty damn good as well:jaja-no:

Yup i'm skinny fecker, all bone & gristle :D
It used to bother me to be fair but I was as fit as a butchers dog :pesas: Put many a bigger lad to shame in the amount of work I could get through in a day, over the years & had a few on their knees when shifting stuff on building sites

Now I fluctuate between 65 & 72 kg but am nowhere near as fit

Almost 3 stone lost since April this year ...
I was on liquid food for 2 weeks while I had teeth implants
I kept on using my liquid diet for 2 meals a day since then (apart from 3 weeks on holiday in USA) and the weight has continued lowering each week ! My trousers are now 34” and were 38-40” (had to order new work uniform)
Shirts are L or XL I used to be XXL
I feel great and not been this shape / size since late 80’s .... cycling 20-30 miles a week and at the gym 3-4 times a week too !

My dieting secret .... Huel !
A few workmates have started their journey on huel too ....

6ft, 34" waist and 12 stone that has been steady for years. I'm one of the lucky ones who can eat for England, though I don't do too much sweet stuff.
Following my last heart event, I now do the gym a few times a week and whilst it has altered my shape slightly it hasn't altered my weight.
I have trousers and a blazer that were from a conference committee some 30+ years ago. I can still get into the blazer (slightly tight) but the trousers are just too tight on the waist. :)

Ten minutes a day on weights? You poof! I spend 20 minutes warming up with weights before I start lifting.
