Well..... followed the advice on here and ordered a full 1 piece suit (despite my reluctance)
Will be delivered early next week (probably on the hottest day of the year !!)
Plenty to choose from so ..... 4040 full rain suit for £22.50 delivered ..... even if I have to replace it regularly... it’s a good start

Got a text message to say waterproofs being delivered today !!!

I’m at work so won’t get them until I get home ....
Hoping that ....
1. They are waterproof
2. I got the right size
3. I don’t look like a Michelin man when wearing them

If it's by ParcelForce, don't hold your breath.

I ordered some Alpinestars Textiles on Wednesday morning, got a text Wednesday afternoon from ParcelForce (Express 24 hour) saying they'd picked up my parcel & it was on its way, complete with tracking number & it got to the sorting depot @16:47 the same day.

Yesterday morning I got a text saying it would be with me between 16:08 and 17:08 - Nothing...

Checked with the tracking number a few minutes ago (Friday @ 09:31) and apparently it was returned to the depot. It's now been prepared for delivery Wednesday @08:04, Thursday @ 22:32 and again today @ 08:17. It's also shown as 'Out for delivery both Wednesday and Thursday.

Luckily, I'm working from home & not planning to take the bike out for a couple of days anyway.

The time it's spent at the sorting depot, I could have walked there & picked it up myself.

Just got home and took OFF my bike gear, after the commute back From London
My parcel has been delivered and the waterproofs look good ..... I didn’t want to put my bike stuff back on to try the waterproof’s on .... so tried them over my jeans and T
Obviously a little big because I’m not wearing bike gear underneath, but they look good .... a bit hot walking around the kitchen !!
Typically it’s bright sunshine at the moment !!!
