Over the years we’ve had a number of dishwashers & used a variety of dishwasher tablets, salt, rinse aid etc, over time most glasses ended up scratched.

It also says (for some reason) not suitable for hot drinks.
So whatever the reason is, that will be why it can't go in the dishwasher as some of those washes are mighty hot!

The best label I had on a garment, was one telling me to wash dark colours separately, the top was black and white striped, was I supposed to cut the top into stripes and wash them separately life gets complicated

Usually they say not suitable for hot drinks because the glass gets hot and they don't want to be sued by some numpty who burns their hand.
