Was it grey or was it red?

Squirrel just ran along our back fence, it was a grey squirrel but it’s entire head was red & it had a large patch of red on it’s side, no red squiggles round these parts as I’m aware, Mother may have holidayed in Scotland.

Was it an Indian/Pakistani squirrel, you know the way the older gentlemen dye their hair?

We have loads of them round here. Small red patch on their back and very often a red bushy tail

I though the greys drove the reds out ?
Not too sure about the cross breeding thing for that reason ?

There’s reds up in jockland & I believe some on the isle of wight.

Used to have 2 sat on the wall outside my classroom window quite regular when I first started high school, we used to leave food on the window ledge for them, by the time I left all we ever saw was greys
