ok,it's a T595 swingarm the conversion was done by F1 Moto which is right outside the entrance to Brands.
it is an amalgamation of the truimph arm and the blackbird one it's been on a jig and done properly the only thing i'm not sure about is the ride height it is higher but may be to much
it's not getting m.o.t. 'till next week so i need to give it a good shakedown and i'm gonna have to be carefull coz its got a larger rear sprocket and a slightly shorter wheelbase and a new rear tyre!!
exhaust is,micron stainless race downpipes with lazer stubby cans and are road legal
it's got de-linked calipers with braided hoses on front, triumph rear caliper running off blackbird rear master cylinder
as for the cost!!!!
I supplied the swingarm and wheel,it cost me ?215.00
the work on the arm was eventally*............. ?900
the cans were ?350 i supplied the downpipes ( brand new) ?75
bargain off ebay and then they fitted and welded the whole
lot toghether inculding drilling out and replacing 2 broken studs
and replacing all the others too(60 quid for them)total..... ?575
*the bad news about it was they had the bike for SEVEN fu***ng months,SEVEN!!!
i was up there so many times excuse after excuse, waiting for this waiting for that,i think he just cant say no to any work there are loads of bikes with some really nice work there but he does drift cars too i'm just not high up the mates list the plus side was i think i saved about 300 quid(discount for the wait) but was so pissed off with the whole thing i never even touched it for about a week after getting it back
i took it up on a trailer totally stripped of bodywork and pipes coz it made things easier for them! and i did the brakes,i like it but it's been the bain of my life since the last six months.if i knew it would be the same hastle i probably wouldn't do it again
oh yeah its already got a power comander with the o2 sensor defeator fitted so will it get it set up soon anyone need downpipes with cat fitted
