We have sky plus which is normaly great. However Sky in their wisdom have imposed a pin number on everyone. Any program with a 12 rating and above recorded before 10pm and anything recored manually now needs a pin number entered before you can watch it. The pin number is the last 4 numbers on your sky card. But guess what it does not work.

Judging by the 90 minute que on the sky help line everone else is having the problems. Why do we have to be treated like bloody kids. :bang:

See! See! Parental control on my TiVo is user configurable. I've set it to block access to anything but kids channels at any time, and once the user-set pin number is entered it unlocks it. It then auto-locks again if the remote isn't used for 4 hours.

Sky are getting it all wrong.

Don?t worry it will be coming to a sky+ box near you soon.

There is a software upgrade that your box downloads without you knowing. It Changes the channel info screen appearance also. It has different graphics and it?s a lighter shade of blue.

Tonight the queue was down to 53 minutes, still to bloody long.

Ah that explains it!

I wondered why our sky box had suddenly started asking for pin's on some films when all the parental controls are off.

Funny thing is it seems only to be for films on the TCM channel!!! :dunno:

Umm, had that, no change. In fact, had that on the OLD sky box we got relocated too. No problems there either.
